In our tradition, the word Sangha refers to a "community that lives in harmony and awareness". We are a Sangha practicing mindfulness and meditation in the tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhât Hanh, who teaches Buddhist mindfulness practice at Plum Village, France. Locally, we are connected with the monks and nuns of Deer Park Monastery, in Escondido, CA (near San Diego).

Our practice meetings include silent sitting meditation, walking meditation, singing and chanting, readings, and dharma discussions. More information about our tradition can be found at the Plum Village and Deer Park Monastery websites. These websites also contain lots of information about our teacher, Thich Nhât Hanh.
Visitors and newcomers are very welcome to join us for our practice. For information on how to get in touch with us, see the contact information at the bottom of this web page.
